TWRP Recovery for Firefly Aurii Envy


In this tutorial, you will learn how to install custom recovery for Firefly Mobile Aurii Envy. Android has a builtin recovery image which can be accessed by different key combination however it doesn’t have advanced option that’s why custom recovery exist. Each custom recovery has unique features and allows you to perform ROM backup, flash different custom ROM and tweaks. TWRP recovery is one of the most used custom recovery in every Android phone and you should be happy because it is now compatible with your device.

As an Android user who love tweaking and modifying, custom recovery is really a helpful and a must have tool for me. It offers an advanced customization but you need to be careful since you’ll be touching the Android core system. Installing TWRP in Firefly Mobile Aurii Envy requires you to follow certain procedure. Get ready and read how it should be done. We will be using SP Flash tool to install the TWRP into your device then afterwards you will be able to root Firefly Aurii Envy.

Things you need

➡️️ Desktop or laptop with Windows operating system (preferably Windows 7)

➡️ TWRP Recovery
➡️️ MT65xx Preloader Driver
➡️️ SP Flash Tool (Latest version)

Flash TWRP Recovery for Firefly Mobile Aurii Envy

Place all the files one folder in your desktop and extract them using 7zip or WinRAR.
Install the MTK Preloader driver. For detailed instruction please check the guide below
  ⚫ Install USB VCOM Driver in Windows 7
  ⚫ Install USB VCOM Driver in Windows 8 up to the latest
Enable OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging ing Settings under Developer option in your device. If you can’t see it go to Settings > About then tap the build number 7 times, it should be there.
Open the SP Flash Tool folder and run the flash_tool.exe.
From the main screen, click scatter-loading button and load the scatter file.
Double click “recovery” and find and select the “TWRP 3.0.0 For Firefly Aurii By Janric Vicedo.img” when the dialog pops out.
Click “Download”.
Turn off your device and plug it into the computer, you will see a yellow progress bar when the process has started.
Once you see the check icon, it means the flashing process has finished.
Voila, you can now disconnect your device.
