Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power Lollipop ROM


Do you own a Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power and ever wanted to upgrade its firmware to Lollipop 5.1?
Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power was released a year ago with KitKat 4.4 as default stock ROM or firmware. Today, I am about to guide you on how to upgrade the firmware of  Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power into Lollipop 5.1. You will going to flash it through SP Flash tool but before proceeding it is still important to take a back up first, so you have the assurance when something strange happened to your Android phone.  Below is the features of this firmware.

⚫Clean Lollipop Firmware
⚫Remove network status icons (3G, G, E)
⚫Replaced Stock Boot Animation/Audio
⚫Replaced Stock Launcher by Nova Launcher (Added lollipop settings to download file, just ⚫Restore it in Nova Settings)

Things you need

➡️️ Desktop or laptop with Windows operating system (preferably Windows 7)
➡️️ Winrar
➡️️ USB Cable
➡️️ SP Flash Tool (Latest version
Note: This is stock Intex Lollipop. I highly suggest that you read the detailed instruction for flashing.

Upgrade Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power into Lollipop 5.1

Create a folder on your desktop and extract all the files.
Install MT65xx Preloader driver.
Open SP Flash tool folder and run flash_tool.exe.
Browse the scatter file from the Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power firmware folder.
Click Firmware Upgrade button. Turn off your smartphone.
Hold either volume up or down then plug your device to the computer.
The process should now start once you see a yellow progress bar.
Wait for the process to finish.
Boot your device.

It takes 15 – 20 minutes to boot successfully, please have a patience.

Fix for INVALID IMEI:

Install Chamelephon.apk (included in firmware)
Open and Grant Root Permissions.
Put your IMEI numbers (found at your Battery, just remove back cover).
Apply IMEI changes.
Reboot your phone.
